Same account, same data, its own window. No browser tabs to lose, no bookmark to hunt for. Your team opens it like any other program.
Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu, then "About This Mac". If it says Apple M1, M2, M3 or newer, take the Apple Silicon build.
Not a separate product and not a cut-down version. The app opens the exact same ValeoLegacy your team already uses, in its own window. Same login, same data, same features, down to the last button.
Because it is the same app, every improvement we ship reaches the window the moment it goes live. Nobody has to download anything again or check whether they are on the current version.
The Mac app is signed as ValeoLegacy LLC and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other app. On Windows you are still asked to confirm once: that is a separate certificate we have not finished yet, and it is a formality about paperwork rather than a finding about the app. The steps are below.
ValeoLegacy is in beta and so is this app. If anything looks off in the window, it is worth telling us: write to hello@valeolegacy.com and we will look at it. In the meantime everything also works in your browser, exactly as before.
On macOS there is nothing to get past: the app is signed as ValeoLegacy LLC and notarized by Apple. On Windows the installer is not signed yet, so the system asks you to confirm once that you meant to open it. That is a one-time step, not a warning about the app itself, and your browser may hold the file back before you even get that far, so that step is listed too.
macOS may ask once whether you are sure, because the app came from the internet. Click "Open". It asks that of every app you download, signed or not, and it will not ask again.
Do not pick "Report this file as safe". That only sends a note to Microsoft and leaves the file blocked. Your antivirus may also ask once. Allow ValeoLegacy and it will not ask again.
The desktop app is ValeoLegacy in its own window. It holds no separate copy of your data and stores nothing extra on your machine. Every update reaches it the moment we ship, so you will not be chasing new versions. You only download again when we change the app window itself, which is rare.
